Becoming a web developer has been an exciting journey! I began learning html, css & javascript about six months ago. At the time I was still working at my dead end job, attempting to squeeze in precious hours for coding. Once I realized I'd rather be coding than to be at work, doing something I did not see myself doing for the rest of my life, I was determined to find a way.
My fiance and I received a huge break when she found out she was accepted into the nursing program at UTA in Arlington. We decided to take a chance, leave everything behind in Houston, and follow our dreams. Currently, I work day in and day out, doing something I fell in love with: coding.
I love to learn, thank God, because there is so much to learn! For me, coding is twice as rewarding as it is a struggle. Being able to bring a flat image design to life, with full functionality, brings with it the most satisfying feeling. The problem solving aspect is something that I do not shy away from, and when I finally solve an error, well, there's just no better feeling. I was born for this!
Are you looking for a responsive/interactive website, that looks great in both mobile and desktop applications? Maybe you just need a fresh set of eyes on your existing team of developers. I am even ready and able to work remote! Whatever you require, I am ready and I want to help!
I am a go getter who loves to find an answer to a problem, or find the knowledge required to complete a given task. If there is ever a situation where I do not have the answer, my specialty is getting the answer; absorbing the knowledge; and coming out on top, which in turn, will benefit both you and I. So far, HTML and CSS, along with many of the previously listed tools and techniques are my strong suits, and I enjoy making a page come to life through the content and styling. Also, javaScript is something that I find exciting and I continue to extend my knowledge on so that interacting with the page can be that much more efficient, yet enjoyable for the user.
One of the things that I am all about is maintaining a positive attitude and being aware of the importance of a free spirited and uplifting work environment. I am looking forward to being a part of something great! As I continue to improve my craft I hope to spark your interest. I will continue to update this website as I learn new languages and techniques. I am excited for the future and I cannot wait to be a part of my first big project.
I am currently spending my free time learning Angular-4. I chose the Angular framework as my next focal point to add more value to my repertoir. So far it is going great and I can definitely see myself having fun with Angular in the future. I feel it is a great tool to add to my list of skills and I can see why it is so sought after. Yay Angular!
